Some of the rangatahi programmes that Tu Te Wana operates arethe W.A.I.Tech programme which integrates tikanga, mauriora, A&D and waka ama into a 10 week programme. The waka ama information technology programme has been accessed by Intermediate and High Schools from the Kapiti coast - Wellington since 2001.
Rangataua Mauriora also facilitates Whakarite Poto (short term programmes) for different rangatahi groups i.e. Learning centres, school groups and holiday programmes, on a "as needs basis".
The service has access to waka ama, resources and facilities of Takapuwahia Marae and the health services of OraToa.
The community programmes are usually based at Takapuwahia Marae and are MAURIORA based programmes that can strengthen whanau, hapu and iwi. Programmes and activities include holiday programmes, Mau rakau, kapa haka and waka ama.
